Stratford 2020 Sizzles

The Stratford Festival is promising the most ambition season ever in 2020. Featuring 15 productions—five of which will be staged in the new Tom Patterson Theatre Centre—it headlines Colm Feore who plays Richard in the great Shakespearean tragedy, Richard III. The eclectic list of planned productions includes Shakespeare’s All’s Well That Ends Well, Much Ado About Nothing and Hamlet; the musicals Here’s What It Takes and Chicago; a thrilling new work called Frankenstein Revived; Molière’s The Miser; Edward Albee’s Three Tall Women; Tomson Highway’s The Rez Sisters; Hamlet-11; the North American première of Wendy & Peter Pan; Monty Python’s Spamalot; and Hilary Mantel’s Wolf Hall. The 2020 season begins mid-April and tickets go on sale to members of the Stratford Festival on November 10 and to the public on January 3. stratfordfestival.ca
