Here’s a neat way to cruise close to home. American Cruise Lines recently announced the 190-passenger American Jazz cruise ship will be plying the Mississippi River in 2021. Also, bound for the Mighty Mississippi is American Melody, the fourth modern riverboat to join the fleet of 14 small ships offering itineraries and numerous shore excursions in over 30 U.S. states. Three new cruising itineraries have been added for 2021: a new 8-day Cape Codder out of Boston, which visits a variety of small New England ports; an 8-Day Music Cities cruise between Nashville and Memphis; and an 11-day Alaskan Explorers cruise sailing out Juneau. All American’s 2021 Mississippi and Snake River cruises offer a one-night complimentary pre-cruise hotel package. Take a virtual tour before you book here, where you can also find full details on cruise itineraries and excursions offered by American Cruise Lines.
